Accreditation
Dr. Harman attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received her doctorate of Dental Science (DDS) with distinction. Dr. Harman then completed her 2 year Orthodontic specialty/medical residency and fellowship position at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinic. She also received her Master Degree in the study of TMD/TMJ. Certified in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction and Orthodontics specialist in Adults & Children.
Dr. Harman enjoys her lake time, fine arts, travel & supporting local KC businesses. Dr. Harman has a lot of community involvement in KC, she has contributed to many local school programs & events to support the youth of our community, and is an original provider of Smiles Changes Lives program which is a non-profit organization dedicated to help kids from low income families and provide these children with the Orthodontic care they deserve. She also retains community involvement with many organizations like, honorary support of the Nelson Atkins Museum (Society of Fellows & William Rockhill Nelson Society).
